When approached by USC Engineering Professor, Ted Mayeshiba, to allow his students the opportunity to study APP’s production process Director of Engineering, John Haroldson, thought, “What better way to kick off the next 50 years of business”? The idea is for the student project team to get real world experience and a closer perspective of the effects of their designs.

APP is leading the way in Closed & Open (“hand”) Die Forgings and Impact Extrusions. All Tooling is manufactured and maintained in-house with APP's fully staffed Die Shop. From engineering to delivery, APP can provide the entire process including finished machining and assembly.
